Who we are
AES Trades Ltd (company number 17526968, registered office 71 Caxton Street, Barnsley, S70 2LF) is the data controller for personal information we collect through aestrades.com, our access form, our Whop store, the AES Trades course and the AES indicators. Contact: ashton@aestrades.com.
What we collect
- Access form: your first name, email address, your answers about your trading experience, prop firm status and main challenge, and whether you agreed to receive marketing emails.
- Purchases: Whop shares your name, email address and what you bought. We never see your full card details.
- Indicators: your TradingView username, so we can grant your account access.
- Messages: anything you send us by email, and messages you post in the premium chat.
- Technical data: our website host and font provider may process your IP address and browser details to deliver the site.
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies on this website.
How we use it
- To give you access to the Course and the Indicators and support you (to perform our contract with you).
- To understand who our students are and improve the Course, using your form answers (our legitimate interest).
- To reply to messages and run the chat (our legitimate interest).
- To keep accounting and tax records (our legal obligation).
- To send you free lessons and updates by email, only if you ticked the box to agree. Every email has an unsubscribe link and you can opt out at any time.
Who we share it with
Only service providers that help us run the business: Whop (payments and access), TradingView (to grant indicator access), our form provider (which stores form answers), Google Workspace (email), our website host, and our accountants or authorities where the law requires it. We never sell your information. Some providers are in the United States; where that happens we rely on the safeguards they put in place for international transfers.
How long we keep it
Purchase and accounting records for six years, as UK law requires. Form answers from people who do not buy for up to two years. Marketing consent until you unsubscribe. Messages only as long as needed.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, object to or restrict how we use it, or get a copy to move elsewhere. Email ashton@aestrades.com and we will reply within one month. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
If you live in the United States
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for targeted advertising. Depending on your state, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of any sale or sharing. To use these rights, email us. We will not treat you differently for using them.
Marketing emails
We only send marketing emails if you agreed to receive them. Every email shows who it is from, includes our postal address and has a working unsubscribe link, and we act on unsubscribe requests promptly.
Children
Our products are for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think a child has given us their details, email us and we will delete them.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
